Erindale is located in southwest Mississauga, on the eastern banks of the Credit River near between Highway 403 and the QEW. It is bounded by the CN railway, Wolfedale Road, and Mavis Road in the east. Homes in Erindale tend to be somewhat older, with 86% of homes being 27 years or older. The majority of homes in Erindale are detached bungalows, backsplits, and 2-story homes, although there are some condos, townhomes, and semi-detached homes available. About the Community

Erindale is located near two major highways, Highway 403 and the QEW. Mississauga Transit provides public bus transportation both locally and throughout Mississauga. Go Transit provides commuter service at Erindale Go Station in Erindale’s northeast, both eastward toward Toronto and westward toward Milton.

Erindale’s central location makes access to Mississauga’s major attractions and amenities, such as Square One Shopping Centre, easy and convenient. The Westdale Mall, located in the heart of Erindale, provides residents with shopping opportunities closer to home. A number of community and recreational centres are located throughout Erindale, including the Credit Valley Golf and Country Club, the Erindale Outdoor Swimming Pool, Huron Park Recreation Centre, Huron Park Arena, and Woodlands Library. Visual Arts Mississauga also offers various visual arts programs for both children and adults. Erindale also boasts numerous parks and walking trails, such as Erindale Park, Riverwood Park, and Culham Trail.

Schools in Erindale

Erindale is served by a number of public schools, including Queen Elizabeth Sr. Public School, Ellengale Public School, The Woodlands School, McBride Public School, Hawthorn Public School, and Springfield Public School. Port Credit Secondary School is one of Erindale’s high schools, the other being The Woodlands School which provides public education for grades 7 through 12 and offers an enhanced education program.
