Meadowvale consists of a good mixture of all housing types, from detached homes to condo apartments. Meadowvale also has a large selection of rental apartments and townhome complexes to choose from. About the Community

Meadowvale is conveniently located close to Highway 401. Mississauga Transit provides public bus service along a number of bus routes, with a major bus terminal located at Meadowvale Town Centre. Go Transit provides commuter train and bus service to Meadowvale at the Lisgar, Meadowvale, and Streetsvills Go Stations along the Milton train line, providing easy access to Toronto no matter where in Meadowvale you are located.

Meadowvale is home to Meadowvale Town Centre, a thriving shopping centre with a variety of shops and services to choose from. Larger Erin Mills Town Centre is also only a short drive away from Meadowvale. Meadowvale Community Centre, located across from Meadowvale Town Centre, boasts a large swimming pool and fitness centre, along with a large library and a variety of sports leagues. Meadowvale is also home to a wide variety of parks and walking paths, including two man-made lakes: Lake Wabukayne and larger Lake Aquitaine. Meadowvale is served by a number of good public and Catholic schools. Shelter Bay Public School, Maple Wood Public School, Settler’s Green Public School, Plowman’s Park Public School, and Edenwood Middle School, among others, provide elementary education for the neighbourhood. Streetsville Secondary School and Meadowvale Secondary School are Meadowvale’s two public high schools. From the Catholic District School Board, Meadowvale is served by St. Richard Catholic Elementary School, St. Teresa of Avila Separate School, St. Elizabeth Seton School, St. Albert of Jerusalem, and St. John of the Cross. St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School and St. Martin Secondary School are Meadowvale’s two Catholic high schools.
